Kendra McClure - A Mesmerizing Poem

The stars, the stars, 
Universe far, far away. Alone in the sky, but never afraid. 
Can see them shine bright, with all of their might. 
You stare in the sky as you start wishing away. 
They are like mysteries, very very Devine. 
I wonder how long they are willing to shine. 
As time starts to go through dark to shine. 
They disappear little by little into the far away. 
As I sat on the hill and wondered where time had went. 
I remembered that a certain star for me was sent. 
I start to cry, feeling sad inside 
Wondering why they came soon then finally slowly died 
But as I sat and watched this very night 
I knew tonight they would once again shine bright.
