Lakers Welcome New Vice Principal

Calloway County High School introduces vice principal, Bobby Love. Mr. Bobby Love takes the place of the previous vice principal, Steve Smith, who is now the current principal at CCHS (Calloway County High School). Mr. Love has many qualifying credentials to make him the best fit for the position as vice principal, especially experience. For example, Mr. Love has 14 years of teaching experience under his belt. He also has prior experience as principal and vice principal in Livingston County School District.

Many have noticed the positive influence Mr. Love is having on our school, such as doing things as simple as saying good morning to students as they walk through the front doors to greet students as they exit the bus. Notably, Mr. Love has been beneficial in assisting with the implementation of new behavioral systems here at the high school, such as PBIS. These contributions have added positive influence and structure to CCHS. According to Mr. Steve Smith, "He [Mr. Love] has brought a lot of fresh ideas to our school; he sees what works and what doesn't." Mr. Smith also spoke highly of Mr. Love saying, "He’s very intelligent and hardworking; he knows how to talk to kids. I hope we can hold onto him for a while."

When interviewed, Mr. Love mentioned he enjoys travelling and golfing. He also said he enjoys watching UK athletics. Calloway County welcomes you to Laker Nation, Mr. Love!
