Virtual Class

Do you think technology is a fast-spreading resource? Well, Mr. Williams does.

In room 410 at CCHS, Mr. John Williams and Mr. Brenden Brooks have combined enough money to purchase a classroom set of virtual reality goggles.

Mr. Williams believes that virtual reality is an “emerging technology” that will allow students to build skills and gain experience before being sent off to the real world. He gives Mr. Brooks a large amount of credit for being the mastermind behind the VR goggles.

The purchase of these Virtual Reality goggles is beneficial to both students and growing tech industries. This purchase allows students to experience VR goggles in content areas for many school subjects, while expanding the knowledge and experience of using such technology.

As Mr. Williams recently said, “The virtual reality goggles brings our textbooks to life and keeps the students engaged.”

This innovative technology is not just for schoolwork, but it is also for fun. VR goggles can be used to experience things you would not usually be able to experience such as swimming with sharks, touring different countries, or traveling back in time to experience what it was like in the trenches of WWII.

All these different, amazing possibilities at your literal fingertips are what will allow students to thrive in an innovative learning environment.
