Laker Band Successes

For the CCHS Laker band, there is much to look forward to. Their next competition will be on October 1, at Murray State University in the Festival of Champions. The competition after that will be hosted in Hopkinsville on October 15, 2022. Regional competition is in the future, which is being hosted at Warren East Highschool on October 22. They have only competed once so far this year, placing as Reserved Grand Champions after an outstanding performance. According to Mr. Calcamuggio, “No one has worked harder than our band. They consistently practice 4 days a week.” With that being said, they are the spitting image of hard work paying off. No doubt about it, they are accomplishing great things this year. It’s evident how their laker pride is shown on the field. Way to go Laker Band, we are all cheering you on!
