This was a tedious and precise plan put into motion September 8, 2022, at the time of Queen Elizabeth II passing. At the age of 96, the Queen of England passed away, putting her son, Charles III, as her successor. King Charles III, at the current age of 73, is the oldest person to assume the throne, being his mother held the monarch for the longest time of any British monarch, at almost 71 years. King Charles is currently head of state for 14 out of the 56 commonwealth countries. Late Queen Elizabeth was the head of state to approximately 32 independent countries, over her time of ruling. Thus, the succeeding of King Charles III, that declares Prince William as the Prince of Wales. King Charles III was the Prince of Wales for almost 65 years, before taking heir to the British Throne. The current heir to the British throne is also King Charles's son, Prince William. In Operation London Bridge, the day of the queen's death is also known as D-Day. On D-day, the news of her death is revealed in a specific manner to respect and dignify the importance of what had happened, following the news release, flags were lowered to half-staff, and the queen’s legacy was honored.

Jasmine Zetterberg

Jasmine is a sophomore at CCHS. She is involved in multiple clubs, FBLA being one of them. Where she placed first, at state, at their previous state conference, and she is also an officer. Outside of school, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her friends and listening to music. Jasmine plans to peruse a career in business or law.
