NFL Playoff Predictions

Seahawks vs 49ers  

Cadwell Pick: 49ers 

Trace Pick: 49ers 

Cadwell: 49ers have the best all-around team in the NFL. Brock Purdy has emerged as a very good replacement for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo. With weapons such as Deebo Samuel and Chirstian McCaffery, the 49ers will beat the Seahawks 28-17. 

Trace: Fred Warner is the best linebacker in the whole league, and Nick Bosa is a top 5 pass rusher in the NFL. The offensive line is also one of the best in football, and Kyle Shannan is a genius play-caller and designer. Give me the Niners 31-14 

Chargers vs Jaguars  

Cadwell: Chargers 

Trace: Jaguars 

Cadwell: Justin Herbert is one of the most dangerous QB’s in the NFL and can make plays happen with about any receiver in the league. Austin Ekler has been the main weapon on offense and will look to have a big game to push them past the Jaguars. Chargers win 21-17 

Trace: The Jags shocked everyone when they won the AFC South this season, with 2nd year quarterback Trevor Lawrence having a breakout season. The team spent a bunch of money on free agents Christian Kirk, Evan Engram, and Brandon Scherff. Doug Pederson led Nick Foles to a championship, so he can definitely get Lawrence one. Jags 35-21.  

Dolphins vs Bills  

Cadwell: Bills 

Trace: Bills  

Cadwell: The Bills have one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL with Josh Allen leading the offense. The defense is also one of the best in the NFL featuring Tre’Davious White, Matt Milano, and Tremaine Edmonds. 

Trace: The Dolphins are going to be without Tua. They are going to have to start rookie Skylar Thompson who has been underwhelming as a starter this season. The Bills are in a prime position for a super bowl run. 

Giants vs Vikings  

Cadwell: Giants 

Trace: Giants 

Cadwell: Although the Vikings have a very good record, they are not that good of a team. Offensively, their only weapon is Justin Jefferson, who is one of the best in the NFL. The Vikings also have one of the weaker defenses in the league, therefore the Giants will win 27-23 

Trace: I think the defense is going to shut down the Vikings offense and limit touches for Justin Jefferson. The Giants just need to get Saquon going early and the game is theirs. Giants 10-7 

Ravens vs Bengals 

Cadwell: Bengals 

Trace: Bengals 

Cadwell: The Bengals are entering the playoffs with an 8-game win streak being led by Joe Burrow and a red-hot offense. The defense being led by Logan Wilson and Jesse Bates has been very solid this year. The Bengals will defeat their division rivals the Ravens by a score of 35-24. 

Trace: The Ravens are without former MVP Lamar Jackson and this will cost them. The Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the league. Ja’Marr Chase has made a case to be a top three receiver in the league. Bengals 31-14 

Cowboys vs Buccaneers 

Cadwell: Buccaneers  

Trace: Cowboys 

Cadwell: Tom Brady will work his playoff magic and upset the Cowboys in the wild card round. Mike Evans will have a big game and help lead the offense to a win over a good Cowboys defense. The defense will need to step up for the Buccaneers, the Bucs will win by a score 21-20. 

Trace: The Cowboys are one of the top offenses in the league with some stars on defense. The offense is led by CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott. The defense is led by Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs with a solid supporting cast. Cowboys 28-24
