Summer Camp Oppurtunities

The school year is nearing an end and talks of summer camp are starting to become more frequent.

There are plenty of opportunities for summer camps for high schoolers of all ages, so keep reading - - there is sure to be a camp that suits you.

Calling all visual arts people!  MSU holds an annual Summar Art Workshop (SAW). Participants in the SAW program replicate what life as a MSU student would be like. Students participate in classes on campus at the main art buildings and live on-campus in dorm rooms for the week. It is truly a wonderful experience for those who choose to go. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Boyd or Ms. Salger in room #407 for more information!

Interested in culinary arts? There is a camp for high school students hosted at Sullivan University. This camp is designed to give campers a real-life experience of what it is like to attend culinary classes on campus. If cooking is your thing, or if you dream of cooking like a professional, this summer camp should definitely be on your bucket list.

Sullivan University does not just offer Culinary Arts, though. The campus also has a hands-on med camp made for those who wish to explore the medical world. This camp opportunity will show you all types of medical career options.  So, if you are interested in learning skills necessary to pursue a career in medicine, this camp is for you!

If you would like more information on the culinary and med camp, please visit Summer Camps | Discover Your Passion | Sullivan University for more information.

After moving to Murray in the summer of 2020 from a town right outside of the U.S. capital, Isabella quickly got Involved in the Art programs in Calloway. This includes things such as arts and film classes, as well as the CCHS Art club! Something to note with Isabella is her unbreakable ability to come up with solutions to problems quickly, as well as being a quick learner.
