Updates

Several more volunteer efforts have been organized in the past few days along with warming shelters and places where hot meals are being served.

MEALS:

            -11am at Symsonia (BBQ Sandwiches)

            -11am at Chiu Fai (Hot Meals)

            -11am at Applebee’s (Hot Meals and Water)

            -2pm at His House Ministries (Hot Food)

On Monday, December 13th there will be a food truck in the Mayfield Wal-Mart parking lot. Breakfast will be served at 9am, and food will continue to be served throughout the day, free of charge to the community.

SUPPLIES:

            -Baby Supplies at 6175 KY-339 Wingo

            -General Supplies at Catalyst Church, 114 Kings Drive, Mayfield

            -General Supplies at His House, 1250 St Et 303, Mayfield

            -General Supplies at MHS, 700 Douthitt St, Mayfield (8am to 5pm daily)

On Tuesday, December 14th the Tide Loads of Hope laundry trailer will be in the Mayfield Wal-Mart parking lot for those who need clean clothing.

SHELTERS:

            The Red Cross has established several shelters for those in need at the following locations:

            -Wingo Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 334 Lebanon St, Wingo, KY 42088. Contact Pastor RB Mays at 270-564-0333 for more information.

            -Fancy Farm Knights of Columbus Hall, 20 KY Hwy 39, Fancy Farm, KY, 42039. Contact commissioner Todd Hayden at 270-705-1051 for more information.

URGENT:

            -Those in the Fancy Farm area are again reminded to conserve their energy so as not to overload the transformers and circuits that were only recently repaired

            -If anyone in the affected areas see water running down the street from possible bursts in the pipes, please call 270-247-4661 immediately

            -People missing any loved ones or neighbors should call 270-825-5024

            -To request a Welfare check, call 270-856-3721

            -Anyone missing loved ones from the MCP Candle Factory should report to His House from 10-5pm
